You are invited to come and join us as we officially launch Christ City Church in our new venue, Synge Street Secondary School! Here are all the details you need to know about the event and do RSVP on Facebook.
WHAT?
It will be a normal service in many ways (with some songs and a talk) but there will be a few extras – we’ll have pizza for everyone after the service and an ‘alien and strangers’ themed photo booth where you can have your photo taken! We’ll be reflecting on the journey of the church so far since we launched 17 months ago and we’ll watch a video we recently made which talks about the kind of church we want to be.
WHEN?
Sunday 28th February, 4.30-5.30pm. Do also join us for refreshments before and afterwards.
- 4.15pm – tea, coffee, soft drinks and homemake cakes will be served before the service and you can visit our photo booth to dress up as an ‘alien and stranger’ and pose for the camera.
- 4.30-5.30pm – our launch service
- 5.30-6.30pm – pizza, more photos and general merriment. We’ll then head to the Bleeding Horse Pub around 6.30pm.

WHY?
To mark the occasion. To celebrate. To thank God. Because we like to have a party, eat food and invite our friends and family to join us. Do read this blog post which will give you more details about the theme of the service: ‘Aliens and Strangers’.
WHO?
Everyone is invited, whether you’re part of Christ City Church, have visited once or twice or have never come. And we welcome everyone, whether you call yourself a Christian or not. We hope to see you there.
