By car: Parking is on the roads around the school. Most of these are in the green zone (€2 per hour) but there is some free parking on St Patrick’s Parade, Iona Villas and St Joseph’s Avenue.
By bike: There are bike parking spaces in the school, just by the main entrance on the right-hand side.
By public transport: Drumcondra train station is 600m from the school and several bus routes run along the N1 Drumcondra Road (E1, E2, 40, 83, 140) and the R108 Phibsborough Road (1, 16, 44).
When
We usually start arriving from 10.15am for a tea or coffee, and our service starts at 10.30am. We’ll be finished by 11.45am and we invite you to hang around afterwards for more refreshments.
What if I’m bringing my kids?
If you’re coming along with children, that’s great! We start our service all together with some songs, prayers and news, before the children are invited to go to their groups. Treehouse is for preschool aged children, and The Lighthouse is for primary school aged children. Just speak to the person on the door when you arrive and they’ll introduce you to our Children’s Work Team for that week. If you have a baby or toddler you are very welcome to keep them in the service with you. There will be a playmat and toys at the back, plus some extra space if you need it to change and/or feed your child. You’re also welcome to bring them to our Treehouse group and stay with them – particularly if they are approaching preschool age. Find out more about our children’s work.
Accessibility
The school entrance is accessible by a ramp and the space we use as a church is on the ground floor. There is a disabled toilet as well.
