A key part of belonging to the people of God is finding your place of service. The Apostle Paul famously likened the local church to a body saying that each member of the church has a unique and vital part to play if the body is to be healthy. So we encourage everyone to join a team and find a role in serving the church.

Set Up/Down Team
Ensure that everything is set up (and set down) for our Sunday service in a timely and efficient way so we can focus on worshipping God and loving one another during our time together.
Sound Team
Ensure the musicians and speakers sound great which enables us to worship God in song and hear the preaching of his word without distraction. As Psalm 66 says ‘to make his praise glorious’.
Visuals Team
Use visuals to help everyone engage in the service by making sure the Powerpoint slides and song words appear on the screen when they’re meant to.
Music Team
Lead the congregation in singing God’s praises as an essential ingredient in our gathering together as God’s people. As Psalm 33 says, “sing joyfully to the Lord…play skillfully”.
Welcome Team
To make everyone who comes to one of our Sunday Gatherings feel welcomed, loved and included when they arrive at CCC. And to help them take next steps to connect and integrate into the church family should they want to.
Hospitality Team
Alongside the welcome team make CCC gatherings a place where people feel welcome and at home by offering a cup of coffee, a doughnut and a smile. Ensure there are plenty, and a wider variety of high quality refreshments.
Children’s Team
To create a fun and safe environment where children are excited to learn more about God’s love and purpose for them. Through games, teaching, discussion and song introduce the children to the good news of Jesus Christ. Please note we only have a children and youth work in CCC South.
