Our Vision
To help each of our children to know Jesus as Friend, to trust him as Saviour and to obey him as Lord.
Our Mission:
To provide an engaging and meaningful children’s ministry which instils the truth of the gospel of Jesus into our children and young people’s hearts. To provide a space and a community where our children are led by example and can feel supported, valued and prepared spiritually, emotionally and physically for adult life.
Our Children’s Ministry is overseen by Ola Ngaditono and is supported by a team of FANTASTIC volunteers. When you arrive on a Sunday, just speak to one of the Welcome Team at the door and they will introduce you to one of the Children’s Team teachers.
We will ask you to fill in a registration form for all new children aged 2y8m – 11, and then you will just need to sign them in each week.
Creche
There is a small play area for babies and toddlers at the back of the main room with some toys and a mat to crawl around on. We love small children and don’t mind if they make some noise so parents and carers are very welcome to keep their baby or toddler in the service. However, if they are unsettled and you would like to take them to another room, you can take them to the classroom shared by the Treehouse group. There is more space to move around as well as more toys and they can even participate in the activities.
The Treehouse
Children aged 2y8m – 4/5 (preschool age) stay with the congregation for the first part of the service and the songs and then their parents or guardians will take the children out to their group. There we have enthusiastic, fantastic Garda vetted volunteers who do plenty of fun activities and teach from the Bible each week. Parents/guardians are more than welcome to leave their child and go back to the service or stay with them if they wish (we just ask for a parent to stay if it’s the child’s first time, to make sure they are comfortable). Younger children are very welcome to join in, with their parent/guardian present.
This room is shared with the crèche group.
The Lighthouse
Children aged 5-12 (primary school) stay with the congregation for the first part of the service and the songs and then their leaders will take the children out to their group. There we have enthusiastic, fantastic Garda vetted volunteers who do plenty of fun activities and teach from the Bible each week. The children will have a chance to discuss a new topic, play games and do a craft related to the lesson.
We ask that parents collect their children right after the service ends.
Our Children’s Team
All our Children’s Team teachers and helpers have been part of Christ City Church for at least three months and have been through an application process, which includes Garda vetting.

Family Services
We have a few Sundays a year when we do a Family Service – everyone is welcome to stay for the whole service and participate. It’s always a lot of fun!
