From 3rd January 2016 we’ll be meeting on Sundays at Synge Street Secondary School. We’ve been looking for a venue that will suit our growing church and enable more people to get there easily on a Sunday and we’re really excited that this venue should do just that.
We’ll be meeting at the same time (4.15pm for a 4.30pm start), and the service will have the same informal feel – with the same good coffee and food!
Our new venue has parking, a separate room for the kids to meet in, and a bit more space for all of us.
How to find it
Synge (pronounced ‘Sing’) Street is near Camden Street and a 10min walk from Harcourt Luas stop. Buses 14, 15 and 16 stop nearby. Dublin Bikes station no.18 is round the corner on Grantham Street. If you’re driving there’s free parking on the school site.
The photo at the top is of the main school entrance on Heytesbury Street, but it’ll actually be easier for us to use an entrance round the back (via Synge Street). This will take you straight into the hall we’ll be using, and if you’re in a car you’ll be able to park just outside.

What about the pub?
If you’ve been around for even a little while you’ll know how important our post-Sunday gathering pub trips are! You’ll be pleased to hear there are a couple of options nearby on Camden Street, so we’ll test them out in the first couple of weeks and make a decision then.
