Over the next eight weeks we’re going to look at eight topics to do with sex in the city of Dublin.
Primarily we are going to try and answer 2 questions:
1. What does our culture say?
2. What does God say?
The first two weeks (8th and 15th Feb) will be an introduction to the themes of love, relationship, sex, lust and intimacy. In the third week (22nd Feb) we’ll look at pornography and masturbation (counterfeit sex), and in week four (1 Mar) guilt and shame (and God’s forgiveness). In weeks five and six (8th and 15th Mar) we’ll look at marriage: what is it, why is it important and how do we choose the right marriage partner? In weeks seven and eight (22nd and 29th Mar) we’ll look at singleness; the opportunities and challenges, and how to find satisfaction and good accountability.
It should be a fun and provocative series and leave us much to talk about down the pub…
