In April 2020 we are sending another team(Maffy & Emma, Drew, Martina and Andrew) for the fourth year now to Kapiri Mposhi in Zambia. Some good friends of Steve, Leanne, Justin & Caroline live there and run Vinjeru School, with the vision of bringing high quality education to the young people in the town.
There’ll be a variety of things for the team to be involved in: teaching, sports, playing with/looking after young kids, practical work, helping with a new Sunday church gathering, and basically whatever needs doing at the time.
There’s an opportunity to help even if you’re not part of the team going out to Zambia. We are raising money for them to build a basketball court on the grounds of the school and will also provide equipment and items that would be a big help to the school (for example school items, sports and other equipment). If you are interested in supporting you can come along to the fundraiser on tbc or if you can’t make the event you can donate will be able to donate online soon!
