Last weekend we were in Durrow, Co. Laois for our first ever time away together. It was so much fun – lots of games, eating and chatting, as well as looking at the book of Hosea in the Bible and learning more about how God loves us and the kind of relationship he wants with us. Some people walked a long way and others walked a little way (I didn’t do either!), and we all lost some sleep but it was great being able to hang out for longer and get to know each other better.
Special thanks go to Leanne – who organised the whole thing so well; Steve – who led all the sessions; Craig and Katie – who helped Leanne lead the song worship. But also everyone was brilliant at helping out, sorting the food and clearing up.
If you weren’t able to make it then don’t worry – we’ll have another one soon! Hopefully towards the end of this year.
