We’re putting together a Men’s Discipleship group: 6 sessions to grow as disciples of Jesus, to invite the Holy Spirit to dig deeper into our hearts, to be accountable to and for fellowship with one another.
The group will meet on Sundays after the Central service, 6.30-8.30pm:

Jesus had many disciples, but he invested heavily in 12 – and even more so in 3. This is discipleship – growing as a follower of Jesus. If you’re a man, a member of CCC Central and do not already belong to a CCC accountability or discipleship life group, we’d love you to prayerfully consider coming on this journey.
A deep discipleship group like this is for men who are:
- Faithful (you desire to please God and follow Jesus in your life)
- Available (you’re able to come to all 6 sessions*)
- Interdependent (you’re willing to be open and vulnerable with brothers in Christ)
- Teachable (you want to submit to God’s Word as it’s spoken into your life, to receive input, be held accountable)
- Hungry (you want your heart to long for more of Jesus and less of sin)
*Priority given to those who can commit to 6 sessions (although we all stand on God’s grace, so if you’d really like to come but there’s an issue speak to Neil).
We pray we’ll have a group of men come together to get to know each other better, grow in Christian maturity together and support one another as brothers in Christ.
This is not just another Christian event – it’s specifically about being a disciple of Jesus with all of your heart. Thus it’s more costly of your time, more intentional and committed, but we pray therefore more fruitful. We’ll share more vulnerably, ask tougher questions and follow up questions to help each other live the life Jesus has for us, and so what is shared within this group stays in this group. Our prayer is that what begins here continues on after; that we continue to grow in fellowship with God and each other through ongoing discipleship at CCC Central.
